About The Role

As an IT Support Specialist at Foresite, you're not just fixing computers—you're the guardian of our digital domain. You'll be the go-to expert for our team, ensuring our technology hums along seamlessly and empowers us to fight the good fight against cyber threats. Responsibilities

  • Tech Support Hero: Provide exceptional technical support to our team, resolving hardware, software, and network issues with speed and efficiency. Be the friendly face of IT, whether in person or remotely.
  • Troubleshooting Master: Diagnose and resolve a wide range of IT challenges, from pesky printer jams to complex network hiccups. Escalate those truly mind-boggling issues to the senior IT wizards when needed.
  • System Maestro: Assist with the administration and maintenance of our servers, workstations, and network devices, ensuring everything is running at peak performance.
  • Security Sentinel: Implement and maintain security measures to protect our digital fortress. Think antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls – you'll be our first line of defense against cyber threats.
  • Project Prodigy: Contribute to exciting IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations. Be a key player in shaping our IT landscape.
  • Documentation Dynamo: Meticulously document support requests, resolutions, and project progress. Your attention to detail keeps our IT knowledge base sharp.

Qualifications

  • Tech Savvy: 3-5 years of experience in an IT support role, demonstrating your ability to tackle a wide range of technical challenges.
  • Operating System Guru: Solid understanding of Windows and/or macOS operating systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Network Navigator: Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), enabling you to diagnose and address network connectivity problems.
  • Communication Champion: Excellent communication and customer service skills, allowing you to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Team Player & Problem-Solver: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a collaborative spirit.
  • Cloud Commander (Preferred): Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and cloud-based technologies like M365, Entra, and Google Workspace is a plus.
